Performance featuring Mitzi Westra, Blake Beckemeyer, Caleb Crawford, and Preston Rogers in partnership with CenterPoint Counseling. Depicting the human heart’s struggle in times of darkness, despair, and guilt, solo arias for alto (BWV 170) and tenor (BWV 5) culminate in a brilliant celebration of joy in Bach’s Easter cantata for four voices (BWV 4).
