Children's faith formation has and is continuing to change. In the fall, our 3 year olds through third graders will be engaged in "Godly Play" on Sunday mornings, a movement that became a curriculum that is centered in experiencing scripture, building a circle of communion, and responding to sacred story, parable, and liturgical action uniquely and creatively. In a Godly Play classroom, two adults are crucial: The Storyteller who tells the Bible story and "holds the space," and the Door Person who stands in the threshold, helping children enter and exit the special space in the church that's been created just for them.

Training to be a Godly Play leader not only equips you to be an active participant in a child's faith formation; it is a meaningful retreat that nurtures your faith as well!

Because the nature of the training is team-oriented, we do need a commitment to the whole training.
