Meet Our Mission Co-Workers
Cathy Chang and Juan Lopez

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Childcare available by reservation.

A grant provided by the Presbyterian Women of Second Presbyterian Church has supported a Philippine local church and their anti-human trafficking ministry, helping to create programs to educate and raise awareness about human trafficking.

Cathy and Juan will show a multimedia presentation about this ministry. Cathy will also provide updates about her ministry throughout the Philippines and Asia, and Juan will briefly share about his ministry among at-risk children.

Since October 2015, Juan and Cathy have been serving as PCUSA international mission co-workers. Together with their daughter Aurelie, they moved to Quezon City, Philippines in March 2016. While based in the Philippines, Cathy has traveled throughout the Philippines and Asia to work with current and new partners in facilitating programs and ministries to address forced migration and human trafficking.

As a ministerial candidate Cathy came under care of the Session of Second Presbyterian Church. She was ordained in the ministry of word and sacrament in February 2008 during a morning worship service at Second.

You can learn more about the work of Cathy Chang and Juan Lopez here, as they serve as mission co-workers of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
