Lee Ivey

Born and raised in Indianapolis, yet cultured by many journeys, Lee Ivey is inspired by a person’s audacity to be authentic. In a world where “masks” are, at times, protective and necessary, Lee seeks and hopes to create a space where a person feels emboldened to present their truest self in a therapeutic alliance that is void of judgment and fueled by acceptance. He encourages this phenomenon through the theoretical techniques of Psychodynamic and Individual Psychology where we might think about the ways discouragement has become our identity. It is Lee’s desire to walk with you in the journey of your own authenticity!

Lee works with teens, individuals, couples, and families. His therapeutic interests include church-hurt, trauma, microaggressions, generational healing, sex therapy, discouragement, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, expression, and anger.

His credentials include:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
  • Ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
  • Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • Master of Divinity
