Susan Geshay, PhD

Susan has been doing psychotherapy with adults, couples and families at CenterPoint Counseling since 2007.  Her approach is psychodynamic, which means she listens and attends to feelings and beliefs about past and present life experiences. Susan offers a therapeutic relationship that facilitates an increased understanding of oneself through intent listening and honest and direct responses. This understanding contributes to a more meaningful and healthy life as relationships improve and decisions are made with increased clarity and freedom.

Her clinical areas of experience include: anxiety and anxiety related disorders, depression and depressive disorders, grief, traumatic and ambiguous loss, unresolved conflicts related to stepfamilies and divorce, and life transitions.
