Presbyterian Outlook: Shining a Light on Presbyterian Voices

October 26, 9 AM | McFarland Hall

Teri McDowell Ott, editor and publisher of Presbyterian Outlook, will trace the Presbyterian Outlook’s 200+ year legacy as the only independent, self-sustaining publisher serving the Presbyterian Church (USA) and beyond—connecting its historic role as a prophetic voice with today’s efforts to engage new audiences. She will share current data on the U.S. religious landscape, situating the PC(USA) within broader cultural trends, and highlight how the Outlook is expanding its reach through digital growth, creative resource use, and engaging content that resonates with a diverse audience—ensuring that Presbyterian voices and stories are heard both within the church and in the wider world.
