Home Repairs for Good Service Day

Participate in a Second Church Service Day on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9 AM – 12 PM! Together we will assist an elderly homeowner with a major yard clean up and build a ramp for her. We will need volunteers to help with yard work and four volunteers willing to help build the ramp.
No experience? No problem! Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome, and on-site training will be provided.
Come lend a hand, make a difference, and serve alongside others in the community!
The Home Repairs for Good program focuses on critical home repairs that enable homeowners to age in place safely, stabilize the home for years to come, and preserve an affordable home for the neighborhood. These neighbors who own their home and live at or below 150% of the federal poverty line. HR4G also provides opportunities for volunteers to serve others & learn home repair skills.
