Experiencing God: The Mindful Christian is a class designed to help participants cultivate awareness, peace, and joy through mindful practices rooted in faith.

This Fall’s Focus:

Through the reading and discussion of The Mindful Christian: Cultivating a Life of Intentionality, Openness, and Faith by Dr. Irene Kraegel, we will explore how to turn our full attention to God and carry that awareness into the everyday moments of our lives—even in the midst of busyness or overwhelm.

These faith-based mindfulness practices help center us in God’s presence and deepen our experience of His peace and joy.

What to Expect:

  • Discussion: Reflect together on the book and how mindfulness can shape our spiritual journey.
  • Teaching: Learn practical ways to integrate mindful awareness with Christian faith.
  • Facilitation: Guided by members of the Spiritual Growth Ministry Team at Second.
