Executive Director

Second Presbyterian Church, a vibrant and growing congregation of 3,500 members on the north side of Indianapolis, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to join our senior leadership team, serving alongside our Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor.

The Executive Director plays a vital role in the life of our church by providing strategic and operational leadership across Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Administration, and Technology. This full-time position supports the mission of Second Presbyterian Church by ensuring the effective stewardship of our resources and the smooth management of our operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative leadership experience, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
  • Demonstrated strengths in team leadership, conflict management, strategic thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools and comfort with technology systems.
