SAWs Family Build Event
June 13, 12-4 PM | Far North Parking Lot
Second Families! On Saturday, June 13, bring your tool belts and help us support our friends at SAWS as we partner with them to build 2 wheelchair ramps in our far north parking lot! The ramps will be used to support people who are low-income and permanently disabled.
This community service building event is for middle-schoolers with their parents, as well as high schoolers who may be looking for community service hours. We are looking to put together teams of 8-10 volunteers to build each ramp.
The event will begin at noon with lunch provided while we get instructions on how to build the ramps from SAWS project managers. After lunch, we will move to the north parking lot for the build. We hope to conclude before 4 PM.
