Join Men at Second the fourth Tuesday each month for a meal, live music, and a guest speaker who shares his faith journey. Our guest speaker for May is Scott Sweet.
Meet May's speaker: Scott Sweet
Scott Sweet is Executive Director of CenterPoint Counseling located at Second Presbyterian. Scott grew up in Carmel and graduated from Carmel High School, then attended Indiana University where he earned degrees in history and criminal justice. After a year of traveling, he lived and worked in Washington, D.C. and Seattle before returning to Indiana to raise a family and pursue his calling as a counselor. He later earned his master’s in social work and became a licensed clinical social worker.
Scott and his wife Ann live in Fishers and have two adult daughters. He is passionate about the outdoors and has summited Mt. McKinley, cycled across Washington, and is currently working toward climbing the highest point in all 50 states.
His life is filled with defining moments from adventure and achievement to grief, caregiving, and deep personal reflection. Scott will share how Christ has shown up faithfully through it all, and how men can recognize and respond to the defining moments in their own lives.
