Dr. Alex Kor and Graham Honaker will offer a presentation on their new book, "A Blessing, Not a Burden: My Parents Remarkable Holocaust Story and My Fight to Keep Their Legacy Alive." 

Dr. Kor's parents, Eva and Mickey Kor, survived the Holocaust, settled in Indiana, and went on to lead lives that served as an inspiration to thousands. The co-authors will detail the Kors' remarkable and harrowing journeys and touch on Eva Kor's public forgiveness of the Nazis, a controversial yet courageous stand. A question and answer session will follow their presentation.

About the Authors

Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, Dr. Alex Kor is the son of two Holocaust survivors (Michael and Eva Mozes Kor). He has a B.S. in Chemistry from Butler University and a M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Purdue University. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Kor is a full-time podiatrist for Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor for Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center Board of Directors and a trustee with the Robert Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.

Graham Honaker serves as Executive Director of Principal Gifts at Butler University where he is in his twelfth year. He is an active member of Toastmasters International, the Robert Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, and the Indianapolis Kiwanis Club. He has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree from Indiana University. He's previously co-authored two books: "The Cinderella Strategy: The Game Plan Behind Butler University's Rise to Prominence" and "Unbracketed: Big Time College Basketball Done the Right Way."
