Take A Second - June 11, 2020

Being the Body of Christ

For all that is being carried and held, remember we are the body of Christ – a sent people – a welcoming community of faith where Jesus Christ transforms lives. To echo Rev. Chris Henry’s words from Sunday, as we listen in lament, we grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ and the faithful work we are called to do.

SUNDAY WORSHIP
Online only, June 14, 11 a.m.
Rev. Karen Lang

"Choose to Love"
" '...you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.'" (Matthew 11:29-30) Drawing upon the Psalms and Christ's command to love others as ourselves, we will hear how God invites us to choose to love through grace.

You can view the video of last week's sermon "Listening in Lament" (Rev. Chris Henry) or view the entire June 7 worship service here.

THURSDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Facebook Live, 7:30 p.m.

This weekly online worship service continues to draw people together. Watch last week's prayer with Rev. Gracie Payne. Tonight's prayer service will be led by Rev. Chris Palmer, with Rev. Karen Lang moderating comments.
