Worship is the heart of Second Presbyterian Church. Each Sunday there are five opportunities to join in corporate worship. See Special Services page for holiday season worship information.

Sanctuary
Traditional Service
Sanctuary Choir provides musical leadership. Special choral groups, such as the Men’s Ensemble, Children or Youth Choirs, or guest instrumentalists, offer their gifts at various times to enrich morning worship. Coffee hour and fellowship in the Community Room follows worship.

Families are encouraged to worship with their children three and older at 11.  Children are invited to come forward for a special Time with the Children; then the children may go to our Choir program or return to worship with their families.

Service for Wholeness and Communion.
An intimate service of communion and healing. Special prayers for individual needs.
5 p.m.

Families at Five
Join us for a brief, casual, family-friendly worship experience at Families at Five, each Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Chapel. It’s an action-packed half-hour of joyful worship that you—and your children—won’t want to miss. And after the service join us for pizza and fellowship in the Community Room!
6 to 7 p.m.
Sanctuary
Second at Six Casual Service
Includes scripture, prayers, children’s Bible-story time (followed by age-appropriate time of learning and enrichment), communion and music. Special musical groups perform monthly: Beecher Singers, Jack Gilfoy Classic Jazz Trio, and the New Acoustical Quintet. Congregation/guests gather for pizza and fellowship in Community Room following worship.
