In high school you are presented with many choices about who you want to be and about how you will get there. At Second Presbyterian Church, we offer a variety of ways to best meet each busy high school student’s growing faith and growing need to be you.

InFocus

Sunday mornings – 9:30-10:30 a.m.
We go deep into the scripture that will be read in worship that day, and we go deep into a small group where you can be yourself and can ask the toughest questions about your faith, the Bible, God and you.  This week's Scripture passages are Psalm 130 and Romans 8:18-27, 35-39.

The Journey

Sunday evenings, 5:45-7:15 p.m.
Join us as we discover the Journey together.  Each week we will take a deep look at the Journey through the lives of the heroes of faith.  Each week one of your peers will share about their own Journey of faith.

Sunday, April 11, we will look at the Journey through the story of Ruth.  There is more to the story than meets the eye.  Let's learn together about the Journey!  This is an awesome opportunity for you to bring a friend and deepen your faith together.  One of your peers will also be sharing their Journey!

Trek

Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Trek is a Wednesday night small group opportunity for sophomores and juniors. Both Trek10 (sophomores) and Trek11 (juniors) meet each week throughout the school year for support and encouragement, as well as deep discussions of faith through Bible studies. During the spring semester, Trek10 will investigate Christian Disciplines while Trek11 examines excerpts from Guthrie's Christian Doctrine.

Niners
High school freshmen (and older) can join Niners, a year-long confirmation program in which students prepare to profess their faith in Jesus Christ.

Footsteps
High school seniors have the opportunity to participate in Footsteps of Faith, an opportunity to reflect on some of the greatest questions of life and faith, culminating in a trip to follow the footsteps of Paul.
