Anna Fulmer is from Rock Hill, SC and grew up at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill. In 2009, she earned a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology from Clemson University. While in college, she was very active in the Presbyterian Student Association and served as the fellowship and worship chairs her junior and senior years. She also worked for three summers at Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center first as a counselor and lifeguard and later as a unit coordinator.
Anna’s ministry experiences in college, both in campus ministry and at Bethelwoods were very influential in her call to ministry, and led her to attend seminary at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA.
Throughout her time in seminary, Anna has had many transformational experiences that include working at Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church in New York over a summer, providing pastoral care at a mental health hospital through Clinical Pastoral Education, and doing youth ministry for two years at Decatur Presbyterian Church. Each of these experiences has enabled Anna to witness the powerful mystery and wonder of God in unlikely places.
In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with friends, running, biking, and reading.
