On May 11, Dr. Richard E. Hamilton, lobbyist, Indiana Coalition Against Legalized Gambling, presents “Institutionalized Gambling as a Social Barometer.”

Moms on Mondays—“Train Up a Child, Train Up a Parent!” meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 356. Our study continues with a focus on “Teaching a Giving Spirit—Creating Givers, not Takers.” On May 5, “Telling our Family Story—What will they remember?” We will end our study on May 12 with a brunch at Marquette Manor with our children and also church members who live at Marquette. “Outreach Workshop: Takin’ It to the Streets” Light of the World Christian Church, Second Church and Flanner House present “Outreach Workshop: Takin’ It to the Streets” on Saturday, May 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Light of the World Christian Church. The day begins with a continental breakfast followed by several breakout groups and a presentation by the keynote speaker, Ellen Annala, President and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana followed with lunch and adjournment.
