The Endowment Fund of Second Presbyterian Church extends the reach of our mission and ministry. The invested assets in the Endowment Fund currently amount to more than $25 million, including both designated and undesignated funds. Bequests, trusts, gifts of appreciated securities, and cash gifts are carefully invested to provide support for the maintenance and upkeep of our beautiful facilities, mission outreach programs, the counseling ministry, music ministry, the Lake Fellows program and many other ministries.

There are many ways to make a gift to the Endowment Fund, including:

• Unrestricted gifts of cash, including memorial gifts.
• Charitable Remainder Trusts, providing the donor with immediate tax benefits, while providing the donor or beneficiary with a regular income from those funds during their lifetime.
• Gift Annuities, providing a guaranteed rate of return along with the tax benefits mentioned above.
• Major gifts in honor of a loved one, unrestricted or designated for support of a particular mission or ministry approved by the Session of Second Church.
• Cash gifts to establish a special purpose fund over time.
