SANCTUARY
CHOIR
The Sanctuary Choir is comprised of 88 volunteers with eight professional singers serving as section leaders. It participates in the Sunday morning worship services at 9:30 and 11:00, as well as various special services throughout the year. The choir has earned a reputation throughout the Midwest as one of the region’s foremost choral ensembles. The Sanctuary Choir has presented concerts at such venues as St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh; St. Martin’s in the Field, London, and for various professional music organizations, including performances at the state conference of the Indiana Choral Director’s Association. The choir has appeared with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra in concerts of significant sacred works such as Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, the Bach Magnificat and Handel’s Messiah. In March of 1998 the choir, accompanied by members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, presented the Midwest premiere of Joseph McIntyre’s Missa Brevis for Chorus, Organ and Percussion Ensemble. In the summer of 2003 the Choir toured through France and Switzerland. Highlights of the tour included performances at Strasbourg Cathedral, l'Eglise St. Andre, Reims, Chartes Cathedral, and l'Eglise St. Severin, Paris, and the Weggis concert series.

TREBLE
ENSEMBLE
The Treble Ensemble, directed by Shelle Louer, participates in selected Worship services and special events throughout the year. It is open to women of high school age and beyond.

ENSEMBLE
The Men's Ensemble is directed by Rev. William B. Williams and participates in selected Worship services and special events throughout the year. It is open to men of high school age and beyond

BEECHER
SINGERS
Named for Second Presbyterian's first music director, Charles Beecher, The Beecher Singers is a professional vocal ensemble that provides music for Second Presbyterian's Second at Six service. Reflecting the service's relaxed atmosphere, the ensemble's repertoire includes a wide range of musical styles, from Renaissance motets to gospel selections. The group is featured in special services and events throughout the year at Second Presbyterian, as well as at other venues in Indianapolis.

CHILDREN'S
CHOIRS
Second Presbyterian's Choir School program is designed for children three years old through eighth grade; integrating musical and Christian education to nurture spiritual and creative development in each child. Cherub Choir is for preschool three, four, and five,year,old,children; Carol Choir is for kindergarten, first and second grade children; and Crusader Choir includes Grades three through eight.
