What to Expect
We believe church should be uplifting and encouraging, without compromising the truth of God’s Word, the Bible. Our purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ and learn how to live out our faith everyday.
What to Wear
You can wear whatever you are comfortable wearing to services at Second. Morning worship tends to be a little dressier than evening worship, which is a casual, “come as you are” service. One member told her teenage sons that appropriate attire for Sunday morning was “a shirt with a collar.”
Where to Go
Parking is available in the south lot near the sanctuary and in the larger north lot behind the church. The sanctuary and Milner Chapel are located on the third floor at the south end of the building.
Child care for infants through kindergarten is on the second floor. Grades one through five classrooms are on the third floor. Middle school and high school students meet in the youth suite, which is on the second floor adjacent to the atrium in the north end of the building.
Adult education classes are held in various rooms throughout the church at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00. Greeters are happy to assist you in finding a class.
