We continue to celebrate and give thanks for our second-year Lake Fellows as they prepare to leave Second. This tradition goes on -- no matter our distance!
GO FORTH INTO THE WORLD This Sunday we observe Pentecost, a time when the Holy Spirit descended on believers. As Christians we see Pentecost as a manifestation of God's presence and guidance in our lives – a gift our Lake Fellows are carrying forth as they prepare for new calls of ministry! And to echo that same call, our graduating Footsteps seniors are stepping into a new season beyond high school – anchored in the ministry of your love and support as a congregation and community of faith. Though apart we may be, we give deep thanks for God’s presence and guidance in our midst and we send our Lake Fellows and graduating seniors onward with strength and peace for the journey! Godspeed!
UPCOMING WORSHIP Sunday, May 31 “Giving Thanks” This Sunday at 11 a.m. online only, Lake Fellow Rev. Jasiel Hernandez preaches from Paul's letter to the Colossians. On Thursday evenings (tonight!), we invite you to join us for a Facebook Live prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. 
TAKING FOOTSTEPS INTO THE WORLD Our graduating high school seniors are stepping forward into their next chapter! For nine months, Kelley and Jasiel met weekly with these young leaders, guiding their exploration of the writings of Paul. Watch this video to hear the students reflect on their Footsteps of Faith experience. We give thanks for these thoughtful and faithful graduates!
GRACE OR RUTH? Northside Food Pantry's new truck is going out into the city to collect food and necessities to provide to our neighbors. And now we choose her name! Last week we gathered suggestions at our Food Pantry Parade -- and it's down to the final two! Please vote for your favorite!
