As the country of Kenya is under a stay-at-home directive, and schools are currently closed, Umoja children and their families are facing a dire situation with no food and no income.
On a daily basis, 3400 Umoja students receive their main meal of the day at school. With schools closed, Umoja staff and volunteers have been distributing the lunch inventory of maize and beans to families, but supplies are running thin.
Please join us in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Kenya. We invite you to visit the Umoja Facebook page and write a note of encouragement for the students, guardians, and staff of the Umoja Partnership.
