Monna Breland
Chapel
Organist
Ms. Breland attended Eastern Kentucky
University where she double-majored in voice and
organ. She has taught private piano and voice
and was Choir Master in both Louisville, Kentucky
and Indianapolis, Indiana churches for more than
fifteen years prior to joining Second Presbyterian
Church.
In addition to her Chapel Organist
duties at Second Presbyterian Church, Ms. Breland
sings in the Sanctuary Choir and is accompanist
for the Men's Ensemble. She also serves as substitute
organist for various Indianapolis area churches.

Dr. F. Edward Wall
Chapel
Organist
Having
played for his first church service at the age
of 14, Dr. Ed Wall has played the organ for 50
years, studying with Ellen English, Oswald Ragatz,
and Martin Ellis. He has served as organist at
East Tenth Methodist Church in Indianapolis and
First Methodist Church in Chesterton, as well
as assistant organist at Castleton Methodist Church
in Indianapolis. In addition to serving as chapel
organist at Second Presbyterian, Dr. Wall is currently
Chair of the Department of Teacher Education at
the University of Indianapolis, bringing with
him the experience of formerly being a science
teacher, a high school assistant principal and
principal, and Executive Director of the Indiana
Association of School Principals. An active member
of Second Presbyterian, Dr. Wall sings in the
Sanctuary Choir, has served as substitute organist
in the sanctuary, and has chaired the Choir School
Committee and the Organist Search Committee. He
has also served as a member of the Director of
Music Search Committee, the Organ Development
Task Force, the Spiritual Life Committee, and
is currently a Deacon.
