A gift to our church is always appreciated, but making the donation before year-end may provide you with a charitable tax deduction.
Stewardship Ministry 2014
In 2012, our Endowment Fund distributed nearly $1.6 million for building maintenance and improvements, mission, worship, music, fine arts, Christian education, Lake Fellowship, Footsteps of Faith, Centerpoint Counseling, Children’s Circle preschool and other ministries. This was made possible by members who intentionally made major gifts to the Endowment during their lifetime and/or included the church in their estate planning.
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It combines God’s principles for handling money with proven, financial planning techniques.
We are celebrating 175 years of our congregation’s commitment to mission and ministry by raising $5 million for four important programs: Westminster Neighborhood Ministries, The Enright Fund for Youth and Young Adult Ministries (which provides funds for “Footsteps of Faith” and “Young Adult Volunteers”), Northside Mission Ministry and Children’s Circle Preschool. Through June 3, 335 households have pledged/contributed $3,406,809.
