Service of Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes

The annual congregational meeting will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013.

Experience the beauty and mystery of Christ’s birth as Second Church’s choirs present the music of Advent and Christmas.

Week 1 - Hope: Light your first purple or blue candle on the Advent wreath, saying together, “We light this candle in hope, bright hope; Jesus is our hope!”

Week 3 - Joy: Light the pink candle on the Advent wreath, saying together, “We light this candle in great joy; Jesus is our joy!”

Week 2 - Peace: Light your second purple or blue candle on the Advent wreath, saying together, “We light this candle in peace; Jesus is our peace!”

Large print hymnals and bulletins are available at all morning worship services. Please ask an usher for these worship aids. CDs and DVDs of last week’s sermon are available in the library. The CDs are there for your taking; the DVDs are “check-out” only. Hearing aid devices are available for use in the Sanctuary. These simple to use, pocket size units are available from the ushers. Please return to the ushers, after the service.
