The Summer Choir provides musical leadership for 9:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday worship services from May through Labor Day. The Summer Choir is designed to accommodate variable summer schedules and to encourage participation by anyone who wants to sing with the choir on a short-term basis. Members may sing as often as they wish. Opportunities to sing offertory solos are available for those that are interested.

The Summer Choir begins rehearsal on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the Choir Room. A simple (or familiar) Introit, Anthem and Benediction Response are thoroughly reviewed.  There is then ample time to travel to the Choir Gallery to be seated for the organ prelude.

Worship Attire

As there is no worship processional during the summer months, robes are not worn. Proper attire consists of black or dark-colored pants/skirts and white shirts. Ties for men are optional. Sleeves may be long or short.
